About Us

IVC Evidensia is the UK and Europe’s leading veterinary care group, made up of over 900 practices and referral hospitals, united by a shared purpose of happier animals, happier owners.

At IVC Evidensia, we believe careers should be built without limits. Our people are supported to make more impact, access more career opportunities, and play an active role in their local and professional communities. Through investment in learning, innovation, and wellbeing, we create environments where our teams can grow in confidence, capability, and fulfilment—at every stage of their career.

As part of Central Functions, you will be part of the teams that support and enable our network of over 2,500 practices across 20 countries, driving operational excellence, innovation, and strategic impact across the business.

Our Technology teams are responsible for the systems and infrastructure that make that work - everything our healthcare professionals need to deliver world-class care. From keeping on top of patient records, health plans, client communications, diary management and dispensing, our teams have a lot to think about and need smarter ways to provide the convenience and expertise that modern Pet owners have come to expect.

How You'll Make a Difference

Reporting to the Head of Finance Systems, you will own the full release lifecycle across Oracle Fusion ERP and Oracle Enterprise Performance Management. You'll plan, govern, test and deploy monthly and quarterly Oracle updates alongside internal change requests, working closely with the Finance Systems team, third-party delivery partners and business stakeholders across mainland Europe, the UK and Republic of Ireland.

This is a 9-month fixed-term contract, with one day per month expected to be based in our Keynsham office.

Core Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain the Oracle release calendar, presenting plans and roadmaps to the business
  • Coordinate regression, integration and user acceptance testing, ensuring risks are identified and mitigated before go-live
  • Lead deployment and cutover planning, producing detailed runbooks and coordinating production releases
  • Take releases through the Change Enablement Board and other governance forums, ensuring documentation and audit evidence are maintained
  • Monitor system stability following each release, track incidents and lead post-implementation reviews to capture lessons learned
  • Communicate release updates and major changes to the business, acting as the primary point of contact for Oracle releases and major incidents

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
