Oracle Sales Manager

Location: UK (Remote with travel to client sites as required)
Salary: Competitive + Performance Bonus + Benefits
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent

We are helping our specialist boutique Oracle consultancy client delivering high-quality Oracle solutions to organisations across the UK Public Sector and Higher Education markets. Their reputation is built on trusted partnerships, deep Oracle expertise, and delivering successful outcomes for clients.

We are looking for an experienced and commercially driven Oracle Sales Manager to lead new business development, strengthen client relationships, and help expand market presence within their target sectors.

This is a primarily remote role, with travel required for client meetings, industry events, and occasional internal team meetings.

The Role

As Oracle Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving business growth by identifying opportunities, developing strategic relationships, and managing the full sales lifecycle. Working closely with the clients' leadership, delivery, and Oracle partnership teams, you will position their Oracle consulting services to new and existing customers across the Public Sector and Higher Education sectors.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who understands Oracle solutions, consultative selling, and the procurement processes within government and education organisations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a sales strategy to achieve revenue and growth targets.
  • Generate new business opportunities within Public Sector and Higher Education organisations.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with senior stakeholders and decision-makers.
  • Manage the complete sales cycle from prospecting through to contract negotiation and close.
  • Identify opportunities for Oracle Cloud applications, Oracle ERP, Oracle HCM, Oracle EPM, Oracle Analytics, and managed services.
  • Collaborate with technical consultants and solution architects to develop compelling client proposals.
  • Respond to framework opportunities, tenders, and Requests for Proposal (RFPs).
  • Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and forecasting using CRM systems.
  • Represent the business at client meetings, networking events, Oracle events, and industry conferences.
  • Work closely with Oracle and strategic partners to identify joint opportunities.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer requirements to identify new growth opportunities.
  • Ensure an exceptional customer experience throughout the sales process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
