Associate Director (M5) – Senior Finance Workstream Lead, Oracle Finance Transformation
Location: London, Manchester, or Belfast (with flexible hybrid working options)
Employment Type: Permanent / Full-Time
Role Summary
We are seeking an experienced Senior Finance Workstream Lead to shape and lead complex Oracle-enabled transformation programmes. In this strategic leadership role, you will act as a trusted advisor to CFOs and executive Finance leaders across major organisations, helping them modernise Finance functions, strengthen internal controls, improve business performance, and drive sustainable outcomes using Oracle Cloud, AI, and intelligent automation.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Leadership: Lead the overall Finance transformation agenda across large-scale Oracle Finance Transformation programmes, acting as the senior advisor to CFOs, Finance Directors, and C-suite stakeholders.
- Transformation Governance: Define and govern Finance transformation strategy, target operating models, process design, and business outcomes. Establish programme-wide governance, design authority, and quality assurance frameworks.
- Workstream Management: Oversee multiple Finance workstreams including General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Tax, Expenses, Collections, and Project Financial Management.
- Cross-Functional Execution: Drive executive-level decision-making and resolve complex cross-functional challenges involving business processes, internal controls, and data structures.
- Technology & Innovation: Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Artificial Intelligence (AI), automation, and advanced analytics to improve Finance performance and decision-making. Sponsor data migration, testing, business readiness, cutover, and deployment activities.
- Business Development: Contribute to proposal leadership, strategic account growth, sales initiatives, and the ongoing expansion of the practice. Mentor and develop future Finance leaders.

Skills & Professional Experience
Essentials
- Strong, proven experience delivering large-scale Finance Transformations and Oracle ERP programmes for complex, multi-country organisations.
- Significant executive engagement experience, with a track record of influencing C-suite stakeholders (CFOs, Finance Directors).
- Expertise in defining Finance transformation strategies, target operating models, and business-led transformation roadmaps.
- Comprehensive hands-on experience across Oracle Cloud Finance domains (General Ledger, AP, AR, Fixed Assets, Cash Management, Intercompany, Tax, etc.).
- Deep understanding of end-to-end Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, and Order-to-Cash processes, alongside rigorous internal controls and governance frameworks.
- Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary programme teams and partner with Solution Architects to design integrated business solutions.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience supporting sales, proposals, and account growth.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills at Board and Steering Committee levels.
- Practical understanding of Artificial Intelligence and emerging Oracle capabilities within Finance.
- Ability to travel when required by client engagements.

- Experience designing global Finance operating models.
- Knowledge of IFRS and advanced control frameworks.
- Experience integrating Oracle ERP with complex operational landscapes.
- Relevant Oracle Cloud certifications.
- Background working within a professional consulting or advisory environment.
- Ability to obtain UK Government Security Clearance.
- Track record of leading major proposal pursuits and complex bid activities.
