Oracle Technical Architect

Intelance is appointing an Oracle Technical Architect as a contract associate for the definition phase of a major UK enterprise technology programme. You will work with Intelance's Chief Enterprise Architect and Lead Integration Architect to confirm how the Oracle estate should support a staged integration programme. The current environment includes Oracle Database 19c, IBM AIX and Oracle Data Guard. This is a focused architecture and assurance role. The expected commitment is about 10 days across an 8 to 10 week period. Delivery will be mainly remote, with limited planned travel where needed.

Tasks

  • Verify the current Oracle database, infrastructure, resilience and integration position.
  • Confirm the planned Oracle 19c, IBM AIX and Oracle Data Guard changes and the dependencies they create.
  • Define which data and business rules must remain within Oracle.
  • Define the safe boundary between Oracle and the future integration platform.
  • Review existing direct connections and identify the highest risk dependencies.
  • Set requirements for availability, backup, recovery, performance, monitoring and support.
  • Assess whether planned Oracle and infrastructure investments remain suitable.
  • Provide Oracle requirements for platform and supplier selection.
  • Estimate specialist effort, dependencies, risks and likely delivery stages.
  • Produce clear technical findings and practical recommendations.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
