We are working with a newly established systematic hedge fund that is building its technology platform from the ground up and looking for an experienced Orchestration Developer to take complete ownership of the platform.
This is a genuinely greenfield opportunity with very little legacy technology or bureaucracy. You’ll have significant freedom to make technical decisions, shape how Orchestration is implemented and build the surrounding tooling and integrations in the way you believe is best.
You’ll take end-to-end ownership of Orchestration, working closely with Trading, Risk, Operations, and Engineering to build out the platform as the fund scales.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

The key attraction is ownership. Rather than joining an established Orchestration team and maintaining somebody else’s implementation, you’ll have the freedom to shape the platform, choose how problems are solved, and build something from the ground up within a highly technical investment environment.
