Customer Order Management & Logistics Support Specialist

Location: Remote (UK Based)

Contract Length: 12-Month

Hours: 40 Hours p/w

Rate: £14.00 p/h

We are seeking a proactive and customer-focused professional to manage the end-to-end customer order process, ensuring accurate order fulfilment, excellent customer service, and effective stakeholder management across supply chain and logistics operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage customer orders from receipt through to successful delivery.
  • Process orders using SAP and internal systems, checking stock availability and delivery schedules.
  • Act as the main point of contact for assigned customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate with sales, logistics, supply chain, and customer teams to resolve issues and ensure service excellence.
  • Investigate and process logistics claims, returns, credit notes, and debit notes.
  • Support on-time and in-full delivery targets and sustainability initiatives.
  • Maintain customer records and operational documentation.
  • Identify process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.
  • Assist with training and support of team members when required.

  • 1-2 years experience in Order Management, Customer Service, Supply Chain, Logistics, or OTC environments.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel, Outlook, and Word.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
  • Customer relationship management experience.
  • Proactive and team-oriented approach.
  • SAP R/3 experience desirable.
  • Fluent English required.
