Picker Packer – Construction Materials
Location: Sittingbourne, Kent
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 11:00am–8:00pm
Contract: Temporary to Permanent after 12 weeks
We are currently recruiting for a Picker Packer to join a busy team working with construction materials in Sittingbourne.
The Role
As a Picker Packer, you will be responsible for accurately picking and packing construction materials. Your duties will include:
- Using an order sheet to identify the items required
- Going into the warehouse to pick all items listed on the order sheet
- Bringing the picked items back to your workstation
- Checking and packing the order together ready for dispatch
- Using basic IT systems as part of the role
- Keeping your workstation and warehouse areas clean and organised
- Following all health and safety procedures
- Heavy lifting will be involved throughout the shift, so you must be comfortable with physically demanding work

About You
The Successful Candidate Will Need
- Good IT skills
- Good attention to detail and accuracy
- The ability to read and follow an order sheet
- A reliable and hardworking attitude
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
- To be physically fit and comfortable with heavy lifting throughout the shift
- Previous warehouse, picking or packing experience would be an advantage
