Order Processing Administrator, Part-Time

Salary: £25,000 - £28,000 (FTE), dependent on experience

Location: Northampton

The ONE Group is exclusively partnering with an established and evolving business based in Northampton to recruit an experienced Order Processing Administrator on a part-time basis. This is a varied role combining customer service, subscription and order processing, and finance administration. It would suit someone who enjoys working with customers, managing different priorities and making sure everything is processed accurately and on time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Set up and process customer subscriptions accurately and within agreed timescales
  • Arrange electronic delivery of subscriptions and ensure customers receive the correct access
  • Process sales orders using Microsoft Dynamics and Sage
  • Work closely with Sales and Support teams to ensure customer requirements are understood and fulfilled
  • Maintain accurate customer, subscription, sales and finance records
  • Respond to customer enquiries by telephone and email in a professional and timely manner
  • Manage customer expectations around subscription delivery and access
  • Handle after-sales administration, queries and complaints, escalating issues where required
  • Provide administrative support to the Finance team, including data entry and routine finance tasks
  • Assist with reporting and general record maintenance
  • Complete delegated projects to agreed deadlines and standards
  • Purchase office supplies and consumables when required
  • Assist with operational and facilities-related administration
  • Maintain high standards of data quality across internal systems
  • Build positive working relationships with colleagues, customers and suppliers

  • Previous administrative experience within a busy office environment
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong organisational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work to deadlines
  • Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
  • Proactive approach to problem solving
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team while using initiative when required
  • Experience supporting a Finance or Accounts team
