Order Processing Specialist

Are you a highly organised professional with a sharp eye for detail who thrives in a fast-paced environment? We are actively partnering with a large global manufacturer to recruit a dedicated Order Processing Specialist to join their on-site team in Horsham. This is a fantastic opportunity to secure a 12-month contract with an industry leader, offering an immediate start for the right candidate.

This role is critical to the smooth operation of the business. You will work under the direction of the Order Processing Team Leader to submit client orders and ensure all requirements and specifications are perfectly met.

The Details

  • Pay Rate: GBP14.68 per hour
  • Hours: 38.75 hours per week, working days from Monday to Friday, 8:30 - 17:00
  • Location and Workplace: 100% Onsite in Horsham
  • Duration: 12 months (ASAP start)

What You Will Do

  • Proficiently utilise the large global manufacturer's systems to create and approve orders within their Global Project Management System
  • Ensure that all submitted orders and associated paperwork are completely accurate
  • Maintain strict compliance with all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Health and Safety Policies through ongoing training and refresher programs
  • Meet essential Key Performance Indicators and ensure both internal and external client expectations are satisfied
  • Highlight opportunities to improve process efficiencies to help achieve broader business objectives
  • Communicate effectively with other departments and maintain high housekeeping standards
  • Undertake ad-hoc duties as required by your Line Manager

What We Are Looking For

  • GCSEs or Equivalent Qualifications/experience, Specifically Including Mathematics and English
  • Strong computer literacy, particularly with Excel and Data Entry
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills, both written and verbal
  • A high level of accuracy and strong attention to detail
  • The ability to plan, prioritise, and coordinate tasks successfully
  • A demonstrated ability to effectively guide, coach, and mentor others
  • Previous background working within an operational environment or a Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) environment
