My client is a well-established and growing organisation within the shipping and logistics sector, providing specialist freight and transportation solutions to customers across the UK and international markets. Due to continued growth, they are looking to recruit an experienced Order Processor to join their busy operations team in Liverpool.
This is an excellent opportunity for an organised and detail-oriented individual with experience in shipping administration, customs documentation, and export compliance to join a reputable business offering long-term career development.

Your new role
As an Order Processor, you will play a key role in ensuring customer orders are processed efficiently and accurately while supporting the movement of goods through international supply chains. You will be responsible for preparing and managing shipping documentation, customs paperwork, and Certificates of Analysis, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
- Processing customer orders from receipt through to shipment.
- Preparing and checking customs documentation for imports and exports.
- Producing and issuing Certificates of Analysis and supporting shipping documentation.
- Liaising with freight forwarders, shipping agents, and customs authorities.
- Ensuring all documentation complies with UK and international shipping regulations.
- Monitoring shipment schedules and updating customers on delivery progress.
- Maintaining accurate records within the company's ERP and internal systems.
- Working closely with customer service, sales, and warehouse teams to ensure smooth order fulfilment.
- Investigating and resolving any documentation or shipping discrepancies.
- Supporting continuous improvement of order processing procedures and compliance standards.

What you'll need to succeed
- Previous experience in an Order Processing, Shipping Administrator, Export Administrator, Logistics Coordinator, or similar role.
- Knowledge of customs procedures, import/export documentation, and freight processes.
- Experience preparing Certificates of Analysis and other shipping documentation.
- Strong administrative and organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience using ERP systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to prioritise workloads and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
