Capgemini Invent

The Strategy and Transformation consultant supports Capgemini clients to innovate and develop new strategies, services and products. He/she designs and implements new business and operating models and brings to life the organizations of the future. He/she develops customer insights, organizational knowledge and market perspectives.

Your Role

We are rapidly growing our Supply Chain and Enterprise Transformation capability, using our established track record of delivering value for clients globally. As a Consultant / Senior Consultant, you will help set the direction, drive forward our business, role model our values and behaviours, and collaborate with or coach junior members of the team.

First and foremost, you will be responsible for delivering innovative Order-to-Cash (O2C) solutions for leading global Consumer Products, Retail, Manufacturing and Automotive organisations. Your work will help organisations transition from functional silos to integrated Demand-to-Cash value chains. You will drive tangible outcomes including improved customer experience, reduced order errors and disputes, faster cash conversion cycles, better alignment between supply and revenue, and stronger working capital performance.

Drawing on your expertise across customer fulfilment, order management, and cash realisation, you will work collaboratively with clients to diagnose challenges across the order capture to cash collection lifecycle, design future-state O2C operating models integrated with supply chain processes, and deliver transformation programmes that improve cash flow, service levels and working capital.

You will also play a key role in linking front-office demand signals with supply chain execution and financial outcomes, ensuring an integrated, end-to-end value chain. You will align demand planning and order capture, supply availability and order fulfilment, logistics execution and customer delivery, billing accuracy and cash collection.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Lead and deliver end-to-end O2C transformation workstreams.
  • Support clients in integrating O2C with supply chain planning and execution.
  • Address challenges across order capture, order validation, ATP / CTP, fulfilment, delivery performance, billing accuracy, disputes and collections.
  • Deliver measurable improvements in On-Time In-Full (OTIF), order cycle time, Days Sales Outstanding (DSO), working capital and customer experience.
  • Support the full transformation lifecycle from strategy, assessment and design through to implementation and optimisation.

Collaboration and innovation

You will collaborate closely with Supply Chain Planning, Logistics, Finance and Sales and Commercial teams to create integrated solutions across the end-to-end value chain.

Using structured consulting approaches, you will run workshops to identify O2C pain points and value leakage, demonstrate innovative digital solutions such as automation and AI-enabled insights, and rapidly prototype solutions to improve service, cost and cash outcomes.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
