About us

Digital Media Team is a dynamic and fast-growing marketing agency, quickly becoming the partner of choice for global brands. We work with some of the most exciting eCommerce brands in the UK, industries from fashion and furniture to food and footwear. Our client portfolio includes big names like Tim Hortons, Budweiser, and Missy Empire.

Due to growth we are on the lookout for a motivated and talented individual to join our Creative Strategy team in our Manchester city centre office. Please see description below:

The Role

As a Organic & Creative Strategist, you will:

  • Conduct brand, audience and competitor research to inform creative and social media and paid strategies.
  • Develop and manage monthly content plans and social media calendars across relevant platforms.
  • Create detailed creative briefs for internal designers and content creators, covering segment, message, hook, format and success metric, ensuring all creatives align with campaign objectives and brand guidelines.
  • Analyse creative and social performance data to identify top-performing content, trends and optimisation opportunities.
  • Make data-driven recommendations to improve creative assets, messaging and content performance.
  • Schedule and publish content using third-party social media management tools.
  • Stay up to date with social media trends, platform updates and emerging creative best practices.
  • Produce regular reports highlighting content performance, creative effectiveness, key insights and strategic recommendations.
  • Collaborate closely with Paid Media, Email Marketing, Design and Web teams to ensure a joined-up marketing strategy across all channels.
  • Attend regular client meetings, preparing updates, performance insights and future content recommendations.
  • Monitor competitor and market creative activity, including paid social ad libraries (Meta Ad Library, TikTok Creative Center), to spot emerging hooks, formats and trends
  • Track key creative performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR) alongside general content performance

Requirements

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Possesses an understanding of paid media concepts, strategies, and best practices.
  • Is analytically minded with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
  • Demonstrates excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple campaigns simultaneously.
  • Excels in communication, both written and verbal, able to provide proactive communication and strategic insights to clients.
  • Thrives working both independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Holds Google Ads and Meta certifications (preferred but not essential).
  • Is ambitious and driven, eager to learn, and willing to take an active role in building the business.
  • Basic understanding of creative testing principles (A/B testing, iteration, scaling winning creative)
  • Some familiarity with paid social performance metrics (hook rate, hold rate, CTR, CVR, ROAS or CPA)
  • Comfortable using AI tools (e.g. ChatGPT, Claude) to support research, ideation and briefing

Job Details

  • Type: Full-time
  • Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 Negotiable DOE
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday (Finish at 4pm on Fridays)
  • Location: Hybrid (Manchester, M3 3GY). Applicants must reliably commute or plan to relocate prior to starting.

Experience

  • Social Media Management: 6 months - 1 year (required)
  • Creative Strategy: 6 months - 1 year (required)
