Organic Media/SEO Consultant – Hybrid Working – Brighton & Hove
As a consultant you will be responsible for helping create, manage and implement the Organic Media/SEO strategy for ThoughtShift clients.
Role
Detailed responsibilities (To include but not limited to the following):
- To build strong client relationships through regular client contact i.e. emails, phone calls and face-to-face meetings where necessary to manage your client’s expectations, answer questions on their digital marketing campaigns, educate them and work with them to ensure their requirements are always being met
- Managing organic media/SEO digital marketing campaigns from strategy to tactical implementation to deliver amazing results on time and budget for all clients & internal customers
- Working with various web analytics tools to identify organic media/SEO opportunities and to optimise and develop organic media/SEO campaigns
- Create accurate monthly reports to provide results, insights and plans in written reports and PowerPoint presentations
- Analyse keyword and audience data by using online tools, Google Analytics and Excel spreadsheets to produce insights, thinking laterally and creatively to expand and optimise keyword lists
- Use of 3rd party tools to analyse and monitoring competitor activity
- Must enjoy in-depth SERP analysis
- Must enjoy optimising meta tags and content to maximise keyword variation and relevance to get ahead of the competition
- Must enjoy developing content strategies and have the creative ability to write accurate and compelling content for new website pages, articles, blogs, presentations, infographics and social media profiles
- Carry out technical SEO audits of client websites and providing recommendations to improve structure, layout and overall performance
- Promote online content through developing long-term relationships with website owners, bloggers and social media influencers
- Communicate project tasks and results with internal team members on an ongoing basis
- Prioritise workloads and record all activity through the submission of weekly timesheets
- Deliver 25 billable hours a week pro rata
- Maintaining and sharing up-to-date knowledge of expert organic media/SEO techniques, industry benchmarks and tools

Key Skills
- You care about making a positive impact
- 2-3 years’ experience working in a digital marketing agency would be a distinct advantage
- Experience in achieving astounding organic media/SEO campaign results
- Experience in communicating organic media/SEO campaign performance
- Knowledge of the technologies and processes involved in running organic media/SEO campaigns, such as Google Ads Keyword Research Tools, MOZ, ahrefs, Google Search Console, Data Studio, Screaming Frog
- Good working knowledge of Excel
- Awareness of Google Analytics (GA4) and/or other analytical software
- Be able to demonstrate a clear understanding of the principles of organic media/SEO
- Experience in managing multiple client/partner relationships
- Excellent communication skills, including presenting to clients
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Excellent project management skills
- Analytically driven and a lateral thinking
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
