Organic Social Media Specialist

We’re seeking an organic social media specialist to join our social team, offering the opportunity to manage a diverse portfolio of clients across various sectors. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our social media lead as well as account directors to deliver exceptional results.

Responsibilities

  • Drafting written content for a variety of social media channels including, but not limited to, LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook.
  • Developing graphic design, photography, and video skills to deliver good quality content.
  • Managing client social media platforms, including scheduling content, optimising channels, replying to comments, reviewing DMs, and engaging with content on behalf of clients.
  • Supporting the Brand PR team in influencer management tasks when required, including pulling content creator lists together, attending idea sessions for campaign activation, and content monitoring for final reports.
  • Staying up to date on best practices and emerging trends in social media and feeding back to the wider social media team.
  • Analysing and monitoring channel performance and producing monthly reports for your clients.
  • Supporting the wider social team, digital, paid, and PR teams with ideas sessions, research tasks, and client support when required.
  • Developing content plans and calendars for your accounts around key goals, dates, and objectives.
  • Editing and proofreading content.
  • General assistance to the senior team.
  • Attendance at client meetings when required.

Required Skills

  • A keen passion and interest for social media marketing and creating social media content.
  • An adept skill at content writing for multiple personas including clients in both the B2B and B2C industries.
  • Creative mindset to produce engaging content.
  • Self-motivated and able to drive opportunities for clients.
  • Ability to deep dive into our client’s specialty area.
  • Understanding the social media landscape and key industry trends.
  • Ability to predict audience preferences with a journalistic mindset.
  • Proactive approach and able to keep things moving for clients.
  • Willingness to embrace new challenges, operate in a fast-moving environment, and maintain a proactive, energetic approach.

Position Details

This is a full-time role based in our Nottingham office and we offer flexible working with two days WFH and three days in the office.

Starting salary: £25,000 depending on experience.
