The Opportunity
The Organisation Effectiveness Specialist will provide organisation design support to the four Process workstreams within the Process & Operational Efficiency portfolio. The Organisation Design Specialist is responsible for designing and delivering the future-state organisational model required to realise the benefits of global process harmonisation enabled through SAP S/4HANA deployment.
The role will translate standardised end-to-end business processes into effective organisational structures, roles, governance models, capabilities and ways of working. The role will ensure that organisational design decisions support operational efficiency, accountability, service excellence, and adoption of the new S/4HANA platform.
The position partners closely with Business Integrator, Systems Integrator, Global Process Owners and their Process teams, Business delegates, Change teams, relevant People BPs, Comms and other business stakeholders as needed, to ensure organisational changes are aligned to new global processes to be deployed.
What You Will Be Doing
Organisational Analysis & Planning
- Assess current organisational structures, workforce, roles, costs, and ways of working.
- Analyse how business processes, roles, and decision-making responsibilities are aligned today.
- Identify opportunities to improve organisational effectiveness and support transformation goals.
Organisation Design
- Partner with process owners and business stakeholders to align organisational design with business processes and system roles.
- Lead the design of future organisational structures to support new processes and SAP S/4HANA implementation.
- Define future roles, responsibilities, reporting lines, accountabilities, and governance frameworks.
- Develop global organisational design standards and blueprints while considering local market needs.
- Support decisions on service delivery models and location strategies.
Transformation Delivery
- Work closely with Programme Leads, PMO, and business leaders to integrate organisational design into transformation plans.
- Identify organisational impacts, risks, dependencies, and opportunities throughout programme delivery.
- Support business case development by assessing organisational costs, benefits, and efficiency improvements.
- Provide organisational design support during implementation and deployment activities.

Stakeholder Engagement
- Build strong relationships with senior leaders, process owners, SMEs, and business stakeholders.
- Facilitate workshops and discussions to develop and align organisational design solutions.
- Present recommendations, insights, and design proposals to governance and decision-making forums.
Governance, Change & Continuous Improvement
- Ensure organisational design approaches are applied consistently across programmes, workstreams, and deployment waves.
- Partner with Change Management and Communications teams to support employee transition and adoption.
- Monitor the effectiveness of organisational changes and recommend improvements to support long-term success.
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent professional qualification/experience) in Human Resources, Organisational Psychology, Business Management, Organisational Development, or a related discipline.
- Recognised professional qualification or certification in Organisation Design, Organisation Development, Change Management, Human Resources, or Business Transformation (e.g. CIPD Level 5/7, Prosci, CMC, or equivalent) or demonstrable equivalent experience leading organisation design within complex transformation programmes.
- Significant experience in operating model design, process-led organisation design, or business transformation within shared services, global business services, or matrixed international organisations.
- Proven experience supporting large-scale ERP transformations, preferably SAP S/4HANA, and / or global or multi-country transformation programmes.
- Experience translating business process changes into organisational structures and role designs.
- Expertise in organisation design frameworks including Operating Model Design, Detailed Design, Workforce Planning, Governance.
- Strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills.
- Ability to influence senior executives and navigate complex organisational environments.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication capabilities.
