This role is advertised as a full time, permanent role with a starting salary of £34,007 per annum. Interviews will be held on the 22nd October.
The Role
We are seeking an enthusiastic OD Co-ordinator to join our Organisational Development team and play a key role in supporting the delivery of learning and organisational development activity across the University.
Working as part of an experienced and supportive HR team, you will provide high-quality administration and co-ordination across a wide range of learning and development activities, including training, mentoring, staff engagement and induction programmes. You will help ensure learning opportunities are well organised, accessible and delivered effectively, supporting the smooth running of the University’s annual learning and development programme.
As a key point of contact for managers and staff, you will provide advice and guidance on learning and development processes and procedures, coordinate training events and logistics, and maintain learning and development information on our intranet pages. You will also support online and compliance training, HR and learning systems, reporting and evaluation, as well as supplier and financial processes.

The Person
We’re looking for someone who is organised, proactive and customer-focused, with a genuine interest in learning and organisational development. You’ll be comfortable working across a varied workload, managing competing priorities and ensuring that learning and development activity is delivered smoothly and efficiently.
- Experience of working in an HR, OD or L&D environment
- Confident providing advice and guidance to managers and staff
- Strong administrative and organisational skills, with experience of coordinating events, maintaining accurate records and using HR or learning systems to manage and report on information
- A confident communicator who can build positive relationships with colleagues, stakeholders and external providers
- Enjoy working collaboratively, sharing information and supporting colleagues, while also being able to work independently and take ownership of your work
- Practical and solution-focused approach, with an eye for detail and an interest in finding ways to improve processes and services
- Comfortable working with digital and e-learning tools and using data to support reporting and decision-making
