About the Company

Our client is a well-established, highly regarded private equity investment firm with a strong track record of backing ambitious management teams across the UK and Europe. The firm invests across a range of sectors, taking majority and significant minority stakes in growing businesses. As deal flow and reputation have grown, the firm is investing further in a dedicated origination function to support its next phase of growth.

About the Role

The firm is seeking an Origination Manager to join its London team in a deal-sourcing-focused capacity. This role is distinct from the core execution team and is designed for a professional who is passionate about building networks, generating proprietary deal flow, and being the face of the firm in the market. The successful candidate will work closely with Partners to shape and execute the firm's origination strategy.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
