Role Description
The Orthodontic Technician is a full-time, on-site role based in London, working closely with dentists and orthodontists to support the delivery of orthodontic treatments. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Fabricating, adjusting, and repairing orthodontic appliances, such as retainers, aligners, and braces components, according to clinical prescriptions.
- Interpreting treatment plans, preparing dental models, and using laboratory equipment and materials safely and accurately.
- Maintaining high standards of infection control, documentation, and quality assurance.
- Communicating effectively with clinical staff to ensure timely and accurate case completion.
- Assisting with workflow coordination, managing laboratory records, and contributing to improvements in laboratory processes.

Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Dentistry and Orthodontics, with the ability to understand clinical prescriptions and orthodontic treatment objectives.
- Competence in Laboratory Skills and Dental Technology, including fabrication and adjustment of orthodontic appliances and safe use of dental materials and equipment.
- Experience with Treatment Planning support, such as interpreting treatment plans and translating them into accurate technical work.
- Relevant vocational qualification or diploma in dental technology or orthodontic technology; registration with appropriate professional bodies is an advantage.
- Attention to detail, manual dexterity, and strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple cases and meet deadlines.
- Effective communication skills and a collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary dental team.
- Commitment to infection control, health and safety standards, and continuous professional development.
