Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Orthopaedic Practitioner/plaster technician who can work a team consisting of 2-3 technicians, providing a complete orthopaedic technical service to the Surgical and Anaesthetic Directorate and guidance to any other service group within the Trust.
- Can work effectively as a member of the clinic nursing team to ensure the provision of the highest standard of patient and customer care.
- You will become part of a talented, dedicated team of people committed to providing the very best in orthopaedic and orthopaedic trauma injury care.
Responsibilities
- To assist in managing, maintaining and supporting effectively all clinics that run in the Orthopaedic Outpatient Clinic (Fracture Clinic); run alongside orthopaedic surgeons.
- This includes assisting in planning staffing around clinic templates to ensure the smooth running of the clinics and plaster service for adult and children and help with Virtual Fracture Clinic.
- Be a part of a team consisting of 2-3 orthopaedic practitioners/plaster technicians, providing a complete orthopaedic technical service to the Surgical and Anaesthetic Directorate and guidance to any other service group within the Trust.
