About the role

As a Pre-Sales Engineer you will play a pivotal role in engaging prospective customers, demonstrating the value of Fivecast’s solutions, and shaping technical strategies that align with mission-critical needs. You will work closely with Sales, Product, and Engineering to deliver compelling demonstrations, proof-of-value engagements, and technical guidance throughout the sales cycle.

The ideal candidate will bring deep domain expertise in open-source intelligence (OSINT) use cases across law enforcement, defense, intelligence, and federal civilian agencies, with a strong understanding of operational workflows, mission requirements, and data environments in the public sector.

Location: Remote, with semi-regular travel to London.
Travel: Regular (up to 10-15%) EMEA travel will be required.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with our EMEA Account Executives to understand customer missions and craft tailored technical solutions using Fivecast’s platform.
  • Deliver high-impact product demonstrations and presentations to technical and non-technical audiences across public sector and commercial domains.
  • Lead proof-of-value engagements, including data configuration, workflow design, and success criteria definition.
  • Translate customer requirements into actionable feedback for Product and Engineering teams.
  • Develop reusable demo assets, technical collateral, and tradecraft playbooks to support scalable growth.
  • Own regional training responsibilities and support the region's existing Customer Success Manager for a transition period.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their integration needs and provide hands-on support for setting up and troubleshooting APIs.
  • Stay current on OSINT trends, competitor capabilities, and emerging threats relevant to Fivecast’s customer base.
  • Represent Fivecast at industry events, webinars, and customer workshops.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
