Company Description

The Osteopaths & Physios is an established practice with over 18 years of experience, operating four easily accessible clinics in Glasgow, Linwood, Erskine & Dalry. We work as a multidisciplinary team & mainly see self funding patients as well as working with private leading health insurance providers such as Aviva, AXA, Bupa, Cigna, Health Shield, and WPA.

Practitioners treat a wide range of patients, using direct hands-on techniques as well as 1:1 and group exercise rehab within our fully equipped gym.

Role Description

This is a flexible hours on-site Osteopath role potentially based across all our clinics. The Osteopath will assess, diagnose, and treat a range of musculoskeletal conditions, using osteopathic techniques and evidence-informed practice to support patient recovery and wellbeing.

  • Conducting thorough patient consultations
  • Developing personalized treatment and rehabilitation plans
  • Maintaining accurate clinical records
  • Coordinating care with physiotherapists and other healthcare professionals as needed

The role also involves upholding professional regulatory standards and clinic policies. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment and support the practice’s commitment to community engagement and inclusive care.

Qualifications

  • Candidates should possess strong skills in Osteopathy and Osteopathic Manipulative Medicine to assess, diagnose, and treat musculoskeletal conditions safely and effectively.
  • Candidates should possess a solid foundation in Medicine to understand pathology, red flags, and when to refer patients for further medical assessment.
  • Candidates should possess skills in Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation to design and implement tailored exercise and recovery programs that complement manual treatment.
  • Candidates should hold a recognized osteopathic qualification and be registered (or eligible for registration) with the General Osteopathic Council.
  • Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication skills, a patient-centered approach, and the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Candidates should have experience or strong interest in treating diverse patient groups, including sportspeople, office workers, and pre/post-natal patients; prior clinic experience in musculoskeletal practice is an advantage.
