World Wide Technology Holding (WWT) OT Architect Opportunity
World Wide Technology Holding (WWT) has an opportunity for an OT Architect to shape and own the future-state Operational Technology architecture for a large financial organisation.
About the Role
Acting as the lead architecture authority for the OT domain, you'll turn competing requirements from security, networking, engineering, real estate and operations into a single, coherent architecture direction working hands-on through design, governance, and into delivery, not just producing theory on a page.
Key Responsibilities
- Produce current-state, future-state, and transition architecture documentation.
- Set boundaries and integration points across IT, OT, and cyber-physical systems.
- Define and own the enterprise-wide OT architecture direction and roadmap.
- Embed IEC 62443 principles into reference patterns and design decisions.
- Chair and contribute to architecture governance and design authority forums.
- Reconcile conflicting stakeholder requirements into a single coherent design.
- Track architecture risks, dependencies, and decisions through to resolution.
- Stay involved from concept through implementation and service transition.
- Assess vendor and supplier proposals against the agreed architecture.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
