Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity for an OT Cyber Analyst to join our team in Derby.

As an OT Cyber Analyst, you will support the implementation and monitoring of cyber security controls in our operational environments (Manufacturing, Test, Assembly & Repair). This hands-on role offers exposure to cyber security risk assessment, governance, and operational improvement in a global business. You will work closely with technical and business stakeholders to help improve cyber maturity and awareness.

What You Will Be Doing

Governance & Compliance:

  • Support governance and compliance activities related to OT Cyber Security.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support audit preparation.

Strategy Implementation

  • Help deploy and monitor OT Cyber controls, supporting ongoing initiatives.

Stakeholder Engagement

  • Collaborate with operational teams to gather information and communicate cyber security requirements.

Assessment & Risk Management

  • Assist with periodic maturity assessments and risk analysis to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements.

Monitoring & Reporting

  • Help track cyber control effectiveness, compile relevant data and produce concise reports for management.

Incident Response

  • Support development and maintenance of OT incident response procedures.

Awareness & Training

  • Help deliver OT cyber security training and awareness campaigns, collecting team feedback.

Continuous Improvement

  • Suggest improvements to processes and tools based on operational feedback.

Preferred Requirements

  • Keen interest in cybersecurity, IT, or manufacturing.
  • Recent graduate or junior professional in Cyber Security, IT, Engineering, or similar field.
  • Willingness to learn about industrial control systems and cyber frameworks (NIST CSF, ISO 27001, IEC 62443).
  • Ability to analyse technical data and communicate findings clearly.
  • Proficient with productivity tools (e.g., Excel) and basic cyber concepts (access control, encryption, etc.).
  • Organised and detail-oriented, able to manage tasks and documentation.
  • Collaborative, proactive, eager to engage and learn in a fast-paced, global environment.
