OT Cyber Security Consultant
Location: London (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite)
Salary: Up to £59,000 + Benefits

We're looking for an OT Cyber Security Consultant to join a growing cyber practice delivering security programmes across critical industrial sectors. This role offers the opportunity to work directly with manufacturing, energy, and utilities organisations, helping them strengthen their Operational Technology security posture while supporting business-critical operations.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Deliver OT security assessments, reviews and readiness evaluations across industrial environments
  • Support the design and implementation of OT security controls and security improvement programmes
  • Assess industrial control systems, including SCADA, DCS and PLC environments
  • Conduct OT risk assessments and develop practical mitigation strategies
  • Help clients align with industry frameworks and standards, including IEC 62443 and NIST
  • Work closely with operations teams, engineers and senior stakeholders to translate technical risks into business-focused recommendations
  • Support network segmentation, OT/IT convergence and broader security transformation initiatives
  • Produce high-quality security documentation, reports and client deliverables

What We're Looking For

  • 3+ years' commercial experience within OT Security
  • Experience working within Manufacturing, Energy, Utilities or other industrial environments
  • Strong understanding of industrial control systems and OT security principles
  • Experience delivering security projects or consulting engagements
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Able to engage confidently with both engineering teams on-site and senior business stakeholders
  • A pragmatic approach to balancing security, operational resilience and business requirements
  • Experience within a consultancy environment is highly desirable, although strong industry candidates with a consulting mindset will also be considered

You'll likely have spent time working directly on operational sites and understand the day-to-day realities of industrial operations. You'll be comfortable speaking the language of engineers, plant managers and operations teams while also presenting recommendations to security and business leaders.
