OT Cyber Security Consultant / Architect
Salary: Up to £120,000 + 50% OTE bonus
Location: Hybrid / Client-facing
Bonus: Uncapped
Travel: Regular client-site travel required
The Opportunity
An established and growing cyber security business is looking for an OT Cyber Security Consultant / Architect to join its expanding OT practice.
The business is seeing significant growth in demand for OT infrastructure auditing and cyber security, particularly across organisations where manufacturing and operational environments are critical to business performance.
This is a highly customer-facing technical role, working directly with clients to assess, audit and advise on their OT environments. You will use your strong understanding of both Operational Technology and Cyber Security to identify risks, vulnerabilities and areas for improvement, while helping customers develop more secure and resilient OT infrastructure.
What You'll Be Doing
- Conduct OT infrastructure and cyber security audits across customer environments.
- Assess OT networks, infrastructure, architecture and security controls to identify vulnerabilities and risks.
- Engage directly with customers, understanding their operational environments and security challenges.
- Provide clear, practical recommendations to improve OT security and resilience.
- Review OT architectures and make recommendations around security, segmentation, monitoring and access.
- Work with senior customer stakeholders to communicate technical risks and proposed solutions.
- Produce technical reports, assessments and recommendations following customer engagements.
- Support customers through the remediation and improvement of identified security issues.
- Act as a trusted technical advisor, helping customers understand the cyber risks associated with their operational environments.
- Stay current with emerging OT security threats, technologies, standards and best practice.

About You
We're looking for someone who combines strong OT technical knowledge with genuine cyber security expertise.
You will ideally have:
- Strong experience working within OT / Operational Technology environments.
- A solid background in cyber security, particularly within industrial or manufacturing environments.
- Experience auditing, assessing or reviewing OT infrastructure and networks.
- Strong understanding of OT architecture, networking and industrial environments.
- Experience identifying cyber risks and recommending appropriate security controls.
- The ability to communicate complex technical issues clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer-facing and consulting skills.
- Experience working directly with clients and presenting technical findings.
- The confidence to operate independently within customer environments.
- A practical, solutions-focused approach rather than simply identifying problems.

Experience across manufacturing, industrial, energy, utilities, pharmaceuticals or other critical infrastructure environments would be highly relevant.
The Role
This is not a traditional internal cyber security position. You'll spend significant time working directly with customers, visiting their sites and getting hands-on with their OT environments.
You should be comfortable travelling to customer sites when required and working with organisations where OT systems and manufacturing facilities are fundamental to their operations.
The role offers significant autonomy and the opportunity to become a key technical specialist within a growing OT security practice.
Package & Benefits
- Up to £120,000 base salary
