About the Role

We're supporting a leading organisation within the energy and utilities sector that is investing heavily in the security of critical operational technology infrastructure.

As part of a growing cybersecurity team, we're looking for an OT Security Architect to help shape the security of smart energy solutions, grid infrastructure and operational technology environments.

This is an opportunity to work across the full lifecycle of OT security, from architecture and risk assessment through to secure deployment and regulatory compliance.

What you'll be doing

  • Conduct OT threat and risk assessments
  • Support secure design of industrial and energy systems
  • Define OT cybersecurity architecture and controls
  • Drive network segmentation and Purdue Model implementation
  • Support vulnerability management and incident response processes
  • Review firmware, embedded device and supply chain security risks
  • Assess hardware and software bills of materials (SBOMs)
  • Work closely with engineering, architecture and delivery teams
  • Support compliance with ISA/IEC 62443, NIST and NIS requirements

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
