This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for an Outbound Appointment Setter – Staffing Services based in United Kingdom.
This remote opportunity is ideal for a motivated sales professional who enjoys building relationships and creating new business opportunities.
The role focuses on outbound prospecting, qualifying leads, and generating appointments for staffing and workforce solution services.
You will connect with businesses across industries, engage decision-makers, and help identify opportunities where workforce support can add value.
Working with structured lead lists, CRM tools, and proven sales processes, you will play an important role in supporting revenue growth.
The position offers the opportunity to work independently while receiving guidance, resources, and ongoing support.
Successful candidates will bring strong communication skills, persistence, and a results-driven approach to business development.
Accountabilities:
- The Outbound Appointment Setter will support business growth initiatives by identifying potential clients, initiating conversations, and scheduling qualified meetings for the sales team. The role requires consistent outreach, accurate CRM management, and professional communication with prospective customers.
- Conduct outbound calls to businesses such as construction companies, manufacturers, warehouses, and other target industries.
- Introduce staffing and workforce solutions to potential clients and identify their hiring needs.
- Qualify prospects by understanding business challenges, staffing requirements, and potential opportunities.
- Schedule qualified appointments for the sales team and ensure accurate follow-up information is provided.
- Maintain consistent outbound activity to build and expand the sales pipeline.
- Update Salesforce CRM after each interaction, documenting conversations, outcomes, and next steps.
- Maintain accurate prospect records and track appointment progress throughout the sales process.
- Follow provided sales scripts while adapting conversations naturally to customer needs.
- Handle basic objections professionally and communicate the value of staffing solutions.
- Support broader business development activities through organized prospect management and follow-through.

Requirements:
- The ideal candidate has experience in outbound sales, appointment setting, or customer-facing business development roles, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote environment.
- Previous outbound calling experience is required.
- Appointment-setting experience is preferred.
- Experience in staffing, recruiting, workforce solutions, or related industries is an advantage.
- B2B sales experience and familiarity with prospecting business clients are preferred.
- Experience using Salesforce CRM or similar sales tools is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Native or near-native English proficiency required.
- Strong relationship-building and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable communicating with business owners, executives, and decision-makers.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage priorities independently.
- Goal-oriented mindset with strong persistence and follow-through.
- Ability to work remotely while maintaining productivity and accountability.
- Proficiency with Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and Google Workspace.
