Role: Outbound Export Administrator
Contract: Permanent
Hours: Monday – Friday 1000-1900/ 1200-2100 (Rotating shift)

Purpose Of the Role:
To deliver a customer-focused, high-quality service that meets the needs and expectations of our clients. Ensure adherence to local production quality control standards to maximise profitability, enhance service quality, and support the strategic objectives of the branch.
Responsibilities
- Maintain high-quality standards and always deliver exceptional customer service.
- Efficiently respond to customer and network requests for domestic operations, providing cost-effective solutions while ensuring operational and service deadlines are met.
- Ensure strict adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs) across all processes.
- Ensure full compliance with internal and external customs regulations and paperwork requirements.
- Translate, analyse, and deliver customer requirements through effective operational and service management.
- Effectively manage suppliers to minimise costs without compromising service quality.
- Maximise profit opportunities while maintaining high standards of quality.
- Liaise with departments in Rochdale, across the UK, and within the wider network to maintain strong working relationships and ensure smooth operations.
- Oversee domestic trailer management, including auditing late departures.
- Maintain domestic vehicle departure times, monitor load yield targets, and ensure network quality objectives are met.
- Ensure domestic gross profit margins (CM3) are maintained on all operational cost centres.
- Deliver accurate and timely PQC (Performance Quality Control) reports, including transit times, flow rates, and damage reports for deliveries.

The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- At least 2 years' experience in European Road Freight Operations (desirable).
- Strong geographical knowledge of Europe.
- Commercially aware with the ability to balance profitability and service quality.
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Highly organised with strong time management skills.
- Customer-focused with a commitment to delivering excellent service.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Good understanding of European road transport operations.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and customer requirements effectively.
- Self-motivated, able to work independently, and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and transport management systems.
- Experience working in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Previous customer account management experience (desirable).
- Experience working to KPIs and service targets (desirable).
- Previous experience managing drivers and transport suppliers (desirable).
