We are supporting a key client within the Environmental Monitoring & Testing sector who are looking to bring onboard an Outbound Sales Representative to support the growth of their commercial team.
Purpose of Role
To generate a consistent flow of qualified sales appointments for our client's commercial team through high-volume outbound calling and targeted prospecting activity. This role is focused purely on appointment generation and pipeline creation.
Main Responsibilities
- To deliver a high volume of qualified sales appointments in line with monthly targets and company expectations
- Develop new business contacts through proactive outbound calling and structured prospecting activity
- Identify and re-engage lapsed or reduced-spend customers to generate new opportunities
- Research and build targeted prospect lists using online tools and internal systems
- Carry out cold calling campaigns to introduce our client's services and secure appointments
- Qualify opportunities at a basic level to ensure suitability for the sales team
- Book appointments for Sales Managers and Junior Sales Managers and ensure effective handover of information
- Maintain accurate and up to date records of all sales activity within Microsoft Dynamics CRM
- Track all appointments and related outcomes including quotes raised and revenue generated
- Work closely with the sales team to support pipeline development and maximise opportunity conversion
- Deliver activity levels required to achieve targets including call volumes and appointment bookings
- Report on activity levels, pipeline generation and performance against targets
- At all times work towards personal, Company and Group targets

Performance & Incentives

- Base salary: £26,600
- On Target Earning of £35,000
- Additional financial incentive for:
- Each completed appointment (attended)
- First quote requested following the appointment
- First invoice paid by the customer originating from the appointment
- Expected performance level: Target of approximately 200 appointments per month
Requirements
Experience required to do this role:
- Experience in outbound calling, telesales or similar high-activity roles
- Experience in lead generation or appointment setting would be desirable
- Experience using CRM systems (Microsoft Dynamics preferred but not essential)
