About the company
Auquan builds autonomous AI agents that eliminate repetitive work across institutional finance. Our agents power workflows across credit, investment, ESG, and compliance for firms like MetLife, T. Rowe Price, BC Partners, and ERM.
We’re a Series A company defining a new category: agentic AI for institutional workflows. Today, 40% of the world’s top 50 financial institutions use Auquan.
Our constraint is no longer demand — it’s how quickly we can discover, build, and scale new products from real client workflows.
The Role
We’re hiring Outcome Engineers to build new products directly from real client problems.
This is not a traditional solutions or implementation role.
You will:
- Work directly with senior stakeholders at top financial institutions
- Identify high-value, unsolved workflows
- Rapidly turn those into MVP AI-powered products
- Drive those products to real usage and measurable outcomes
You are a 0→1 product builder embedded in the customer environment, responsible for turning ambiguous workflows into real, deployed AI products.
Must-haves
- 4-8+ years of B2B enterprise product experience, fintech and applied AI preferred
- Proven track record of building products from 0→1: discovery → MVP → iteration → real usage
- Strong client presence with the ability to guide and influence senior stakeholder conversations
- Hands-on GenAI fluency (LLMs, workflows, rapid prototyping)
- Builder mindset: ships V1s in days, thrives in ambiguity, bias to action
Nice-to-haves
- Experience in financial services workflows (credit, investing, research, monitoring)
- Background in IB, private credit, PE, asset management, or consulting
- Familiarity with financial data ecosystems (Bloomberg, FactSet, etc.)
- Experience with LLM tooling (OpenAI, Claude, LangChain, etc.)

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.
Start with a chat, not a search bar
Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

You will operate as part of a small Outcome Pod, embedded directly with clients and responsible for end-to-end outcomes. You will own delivery and outcomes for your client, and help define best practices, quality standards, and product direction.
In practice, this means:
- Owning a portfolio of enterprise financial clients and becoming their go-to partner
- Running deep discovery: sitting inside workflows, shadowing analysts, joining working sessions
- Understanding and mapping workflows end-to-end (e.g. credit reviews, investment research, portfolio monitoring)
- Translating messy, ambiguous processes into structured, multi-step AI workflows
- Rapidly building MVPs and prototypes; iterating directly with users
- Working in lockstep with Product Engineers to ship usable capabilities weekly
- Designing evaluation logic, edge cases, and correctness criteria
- Driving adoption: ensuring clients can independently use what you build
- Measuring success via real KPI movement and usage
- Managing multi-threaded client engagements (business, security, procurement)
- Expanding usage: identifying new use cases, teams, and opportunities
- Converting workflows into reusable product components and feeding product direction
- Work closely with vertical leads to align on what “good” looks like, while maintaining ownership of execution and client outcomes
