About Phoenix Play
At Phoenix Play, we have over 20 years of experience designing and installing inspiring educational play environments across schools, nurseries, and public settings.
Our mission “Stories Start Here” reflects our belief that every playground is more than just equipment, it’s a place where friendships are formed, confidence grows, curiosity is encouraged, and unforgettable experiences begin.
From climbing frames and Early Years outdoor spaces to bespoke outdoor classrooms, every project we create is designed to make a lasting impact on the children who use it.
The Opportunity
Are you looking for a career that is fun, creative, and genuinely makes a difference?
We are looking for an experienced Outdoor Learning Consultant to join our growing Sales Team, covering the North of England.
This is a remote, field-based role that combines customer site visits with home-based admin and design work. Typically, your time will be split evenly between working out in your territory and working from home across a fortnight.
Working under the guidance of our Sales Director, you’ll collaborate closely with our Sales, Operations, and Creative Design teams to take a customer’s initial brief and vision and turn it into an inspiring outdoor learning and play space.
From the first conversation and site visit through to developing the design, presenting your proposal, and securing the project, you’ll play a key role in creating outdoor spaces that make a genuine difference to children.
What We Offer
Our people are at the heart of everything we do, and we want them to feel valued, supported, and rewarded for the difference they make. That’s why we offer a competitive package alongside genuine opportunities to progress and build a long-term career with Phoenix Play.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
