Job Overview

Are you an organised, customer-focused professional who thrives in a busy environment? We are recruiting for a range of exciting Band 3 Administrative and Clerical roles across several services at Moorfields Eye Hospital.

These opportunities are ideal for individuals who enjoy working with people, providing excellent customer service, and keeping multiple priorities moving at the same time. No two days are the same, so we're looking for candidates who are adaptable, proactive, and able to remain calm and effective in a fast-paced environment.

Successful candidates will be confident communicators, skilled at building positive relationships with patients, colleagues, and stakeholders. You'll be able to manage competing demands, solve problems, and contribute to delivering an exceptional experience for our patients.

To support these recruitment opportunities, we will be hosting an Assessment Day on 9 October, giving candidates the chance to showcase their skills, experience, and potential in a supportive and engaging environment.

Detailed Job Description And Main Responsibilities

This is an exciting time to join Moorfields Eye Hospital. We are investing in digital innovation and service improvement across our organisation, including our upcoming move to the new Oriel development, which will help shape the future of eye care delivery, research and education. As part of this journey, we are looking for talented and customer-focused individuals to join our administrative and clerical teams and play a key role in supporting our patients and services.

Please note these roles are based on site.

Education & Qualifications

Essential criteria

  • Education to GCSE level (including English and maths to GCSE A-C)

Experience

Essential criteria

  • Administrative experience

Desirable criteria

  • Experience of working in a busy and demanding customer facing role.

Skills

Essential criteria

  • Proficient in the use of MS Office IT software packages (eg MS Excel, Word).
  • Appreciation and awareness of the data protection act.
