Salary: £21,149.44 per year (pro-rata)
Part-time, 32 hours per week

At Practice Plus Group Hospital Plymouth, we put patients at the heart of everything we do. We are looking for a caring, professional and motivated Healthcare Assistant to join our Outpatients team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a supportive multidisciplinary team, delivering high-quality care and an excellent patient experience in a modern hospital environment.
About The Role
As an Outpatient Healthcare Assistant, you will support the clinical team in delivering safe, effective and compassionate care. Working under the direction of qualified professionals, you'll provide both clinical and non-clinical support, helping patients throughout their journey while ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the department. You'll play an important role in maintaining a welcoming, clean and efficient environment for patients, visitors and colleagues.

What you'll be doing
- You'll support patients with fundamental care needs
- Assist with observations and vital signs
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Help prepare patients for treatments and investigations
- Work closely with nurses and other healthcare professionals
- Provide a professional reception service when required
- Answer enquiries
- Support administrative processes
- Ensure patient dignity, privacy and confidentiality are maintained at all times
