We are looking to recruit a pharmacist with excellent customer service skills, who is looking for a new challenge in a hospital Outpatient setting. This role will provide an opportunity to work closely with a wider multidisciplinary Team and gain unmatched hospital experience, with the opportunity to enhance their clinical skills. The candidate will also have the opportunity to utilise their patient-focused community pharmacy skills in a busy dispensing environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible Pharmacist: Complete day-to-day operational tasks and work alongside the senior Pharmacy team, including the Superintendent Pharmacist and other Pharmacists in developing and delivering innovative services to provide an excellent patient experience.
• Outpatient Pharmacy: Will be the Responsible Pharmacist for the Outpatient pharmacy.
• Clinical Screening: Responsible for clinical screening and checking of all outpatient prescriptions.
• Dispensing Activities: Responsible for the day-to-day activities connected with the dispensing supply, ordering, and receipt of medicines.
• Clinical Advice: Providing clinical advice to patients and other healthcare professionals.
• Patient Advice: Provide advice to patients on the use of medicines and general health and lifestyle matters within their capability.
• Liaise with MDT: Liaise with the wider MDT to optimise all patients' health.
• Staff Management: Supervise and manage all the dispensing staff, including day-to-day operations.
• Adhere to Practices: Adhere to all safe and legal practices within the Pharmacy.
• Training Support: Support Pharmacy-based training for all staff members.
