Receptionist
We are looking for an enthusiastic, helpful and friendly individual to join our team and work as the receptionist covering predominantly, the Out Patient Clinic at Laureate House, although they may be expected to work at other locations across the Trust from time to time.
Main Duties
The main duties of the post holder will be to meet and greet patients as well as clinical and clerical staff. The post holder will be the first line of telephone contact to all service users, carers/relatives, displaying a warm, friendly and helpful attitude always.
Duties will include, receiving referrals, arranging appointments, updating this on the EPR system, recording messages accurately for all team members as well as managing telephone calls for the area of responsibility and transferring calls appropriately in a professional manner as well as providing admin support to the clinical team.
The post holder will meet and greet the General Public, Clinical and Clerical Staff and will ensure all reception processes are carried out in a timely and accurate manner.

The postholder will provide an efficient and professional Reception service ensuring quality service to all users. The post holder will also be required to undertake general clerical duties within the reception.
To have a flexible approach in providing admin support to the multi-disciplinary teams working with a client group with mental health problems. There will be client and carer telephone contact and also, face-to-face contact at some sites and therefore, good communication skills are essential.
To meet the needs of the Trust services, you may be required from time to time to work outside of your normal area of work. The Trust reserves the right to change your normal area of work to any other location within the Trust.
