Outreach & Recruitment Manager

We are looking for an Outreach & Recruitment Manager to manage our applicant pipeline from the initial enquiry stage through to enrolment on GCSE results day. In this target-driven role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering high-impact school visits, dynamic taster days, and assessment days to boost application numbers. You’ll play a direct role in diversifying the tech talent pipeline and determining who gets access to our transformative digital curriculum.

Job Title: Outreach & Recruitment Manager

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and deliver engaging school visits, assemblies, workshops, and careers fairs across London.
  • Manage end-to-end recruitment, including enquiries, applications, assessment days, offers, and enrolment, using CRM systems like Dynamics 365 or Salesforce.
  • Build and nurture relationships with feeder schools and track engagement.
  • Plan and deliver key applicant events such as Open Days, Taster Days, Assessment Centres, and keep-warm events.
  • Deliver email campaigns throughout the recruitment cycle to offer-holders to facilitate conversion.
  • Line manage team members, set objectives, conduct appraisal reviews, and delegate strategic tasks.
  • Collaborate with External Relations on marketing campaigns, prospectus updates, and admissions content for the web and social media.
  • Lead on enrolment logistics and processing during GCSE results day and the summer.

Requirements

  • Confident presenting to groups of all sizes, such as school assemblies, and adapting communication styles for students, parents, and school leaders.
  • Experience tracking applicant pipelines, maintaining accurate data, and generating reports using spreadsheets and CRMs.
  • Proven ability to plan, organise, and run engaging on-campus events and open evenings.
  • Ability to line manage, delegate effectively, and support direct reports.
  • Strong time management and high accuracy in data tracking.
  • Prior experience in student recruitment, FE outreach, or admissions is desirable, along with experience using Google Workspace and Salesforce.
