About the Role:
We're seeking an enthusiastic and organised Outreach & Research Liaison to support the growth and impact of our Engineering Learning initiatives. This hybrid role combines stakeholder engagement, industry research, community building, and programme support to help expand learning opportunities for engineers at all stages of their careers.
The ideal candidate is equally comfortable building relationships, conducting research, coordinating activities, and identifying opportunities to improve learning experiences and programme reach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outreach & Relationship Building
- Build and maintain relationships with engineering professionals, learning -partners, universities, industry groups, and community organisations.
- Support outreach campaigns to increase participation in engineering learning programmes.
- Represent the organisation at industry events, webinars, networking sessions, and learning initiatives.
- Develop and nurture partnerships that enhance programme visibility and impact.

Research & Insights
- Conduct research on engineering workforce trends, skills development needs, emerging technologies, and learning best practices.
- Gather feedback from learners, industry partners, and stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Monitor competitor and market developments within engineering education and professional learning.
- Prepare reports, summaries, and recommendations for programme leadership.

Programme Support
- Coordinate communication with participants, partners, and stakeholders.
- Assist with the planning and delivery of workshops, webinars, training sessions, and community events.
- Track engagement metrics and programme outcomes.
- Maintain accurate records of outreach activities, partnerships, and research findings.

Collaboration
- Work closely with learning designers, programme managers, subject matter experts, and external partners.
- Support content promotion across digital channels and professional networks.
- Contribute ideas to improve learner engagement and programme effectiveness.

Qualifications Required:
- 3+ years of experience in outreach, stakeholder engagement, research, programme coordination, or a related field.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and project coordination abilities.
- Experience conducting research and synthesising insights into actionable recommendations.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
Preferred:
- Experience within engineering, STEM, education, workforce development, or learning environments.
- Familiarity with LinkedIn and professional community engagement.
- Experience supporting partnerships or educational programmes.
- Knowledge of emerging engineering and technology trends.
