Role Description
The Outreach Specialist internship is a hybrid role based in London, with a combination of on-site work and flexible work-from-home arrangements. In this role, the intern will support community outreach initiatives, including engaging with existing and potential community members, partners, and organizations to raise awareness of Women In Money’s programs and resources. - Conducting research on relevant communities and networks
- Assisting in planning and promoting events or workshops
- Responding to inquiries
- Providing basic customer support
The intern will help create outreach materials, draft communications, and contribute to online and offline campaigns to increase engagement. This internship offers exposure to community-building, financial empowerment initiatives, and non-profit or social enterprise operations.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and writing skills for engaging outreach, email communication, and content creation.
- Customer service and community outreach skills to build relationships, respond to inquiries, and support community activities.
- Research skills to identify potential partners, communities, and opportunities for collaboration and growth.
- Interest in financial education, entrepreneurship, or social impact, with a commitment to inclusive empowerment.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a small team, as well as independently in a hybrid work environment.
- Organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency with basic digital tools (e.g., email platforms, social media, spreadsheets); experience with outreach or CRM tools is a plus.
- Prior experience in outreach, volunteering, or community engagement is beneficial but not required.
