Part-Time Outreach Tutor - Basildon, Essex

About the Role
Our client, a leading educational provider in the region, is seeking talented and adaptable Outreach Tutors to join their dedicated team across Basildon, Wickford, and Billericay. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse range of students, delivering tailored, one-on-one or small group support to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing personalised academic support and guidance to students, addressing their unique learning needs and helping them overcome challenges
- Designing and delivering engaging, innovative lesson plans that cater to diverse learning styles with access to preplanned lessons to adjust to student.
- Collaborating closely with parents, teachers, and other educational professionals to ensure a cohesive and supportive learning environment
- Monitoring student progress, providing regular feedback, and adapting your approach as needed
- Maintaining detailed records and documentation to track student development
- Actively participating in team meetings, professional development opportunities, and other administrative tasks as required

Requirements
- Relevant teaching/Tutoring/Intervention experience, preferably in an outreach or one-on-one setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues
- A deep understanding of various learning styles and the ability to tailor your approach accordingly
- Creativity, flexibility, and a genuine passion for helping students reach their full potential
- A commitment to continuous professional development and staying up-to-date with the latest educational best practices

Salary
Depending on your experience and qualifications, you can expect to earn a competitive hourly rate of £20 - £25 per hour. Our client is open to considering various employment options, including Umbrella and Self-Employed, ensuring you can find an arrangement that best suits your needs.
