Outsourcing Senior – Top 40 Firm – City of London

Are you an ambitious accounting professional looking to step up into a client-leading role within a rapidly growing outsourcing department?

This Top 40 Firm delivers online interactive accounting software services to a diverse and growing client base. The firm continues to expand its technology-led client solutions, demonstrating a clear commitment to leveraging cutting-edge cloud accounting tools to provide high-quality, data-driven management reporting and advisory services.

As an Outsourcing Senior you will:

  • Prepare monthly and quarterly management accounts, analyse key performance indicators, and report financial variances directly for a dedicated portfolio of clients.
  • Prepare UK VAT returns and assist with the preparation of annual financial statements using modern cloud accounting software.
  • Apply core principles of accounting to deliver professional day-to-day accounting and client-facing advisory solutions that extend far beyond traditional bookkeeping.
  • Delegate work to junior team members, review their output, and provide constructive supervision and guidance prior to manager sign-off.
  • Travel to client premises where necessary to deliver tailored accounting support and identify opportunities for additional advisory services.

As the successful candidate you will:

  • Be ACA or ACCA qualified or part-qualified
  • Hold prior experience working in public practice delivering management accounting and client services.
  • Demonstrate essential expertise in online accounting packages, specifically Xero (experience with Caseware Accounts Production Software is advantageous).
  • Possess strong UK GAAP knowledge, a thorough working knowledge of UK VAT, and awareness of relevant regulatory compliance.
  • Have a proven track record of taking full ownership for client service delivery, delegating effectively, and self-reviewing work before manager submission.
