This Top 30 Accounting Firm are looking for a commercially-minded and technology-focused Outsourcing Senior to join their Business Services department.
They use leading online accounting technology to deliver high quality solutions, helping their clients understand their financial performance and make better business decisions.
What You’ll Be Doing
Initially, you will support experienced members of the team across their client portfolios before taking responsibility for your own portfolio under the guidance of managers, directors and Partners.

- Providing professional day-to-day outsourced accounting services to a varied portfolio of clients
- Preparing monthly and quarterly management accounts
- Preparing VAT returns
- Assisting with the preparation of annual financial statements
- Using online accounting software and technology to deliver efficient client services
- Taking ownership of client relationships and ensuring a consistently high standard of service
- Delegating work to junior team members and reviewing their work
As you develop within the role, there will also be opportunities to become involved in marketing our services. For the right individual, there is a clear opportunity to progress into a more senior position.

About You
You will have experience working within public practice, delivering outsourced accounting services to clients. You’ll have previously taken ownership of client assignments and have some experience of delegating and reviewing the work of others.
- Confident and enthusiastic about technology, with a proven aptitude for learning and using new systems
- Comfortable working directly with clients and building strong professional relationships
- An ability to delegate work to juniors and to supervise that work
- Good knowledge of UK GAAP
- Good knowledge of VAT
