An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Outsourcing Senior to join a well-established and expanding professional services firm. Working with a varied client base, you will play a key role in delivering outsourced accounting solutions, financial reporting, and wider finance support services.
The Role
As an Outsourcing Senior, your responsibilities will include:
- Managing day-to-day bookkeeping, account reconciliations, management reporting, VAT compliance, and statutory accounts preparation.
- Acting as a primary point of contact throughout the audit cycle, liaising with both external auditors and client representatives.
- Assisting clients with finance transformation initiatives, including accounting process improvements and systems implementations.
- Developing trusted client relationships by delivering a responsive and value-added service.
- Overseeing a portfolio of clients, monitoring profitability, managing fees, and coordinating billing activities.
- Supporting, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members to aid their development.

Candidate Profile
The successful applicant will ideally have:
- ACA or ACCA qualifications, either fully qualified or part-qualified.
- A minimum of three years' experience within an outsourcing, management accounts, finance function, or accountancy practice environment.
- A solid understanding of UK GAAP, VAT requirements, and cloud-based accounting systems.
- Strong Excel capabilities and excellent analytical skills.
- The ability to effectively manage multiple deadlines while maintaining a high standard of work.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a client-focused approach.
- Previous experience coaching, supervising, or mentoring junior colleagues would be beneficial.
