Senior Manager
We are recruiting a Senior Manager to join a growing and ambitious professional services team in Belfast. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced accountant or business services professional to take on a key leadership role, managing a varied client portfolio while supporting the continued growth of the business across Northern Ireland.
You will work with a diverse range of clients, including SMEs, owner-managed businesses, high-growth companies, and larger corporate organisations. The role will combine client delivery, team leadership, technical expertise, and business development, offering the opportunity to make a genuine impact within a collaborative and forward-thinking environment.

About You
- ACA, ACCA, or equivalent qualified.
- Previous experience in a Senior Manager or similar leadership role within accountancy, professional services, or business advisory.
- Strong experience managing a varied client portfolio.
- Proven business development experience and the ability to build new client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of the Belfast and Northern Ireland business market.
- Confident managing complex client requirements and technical accounting matters.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and project management skills.
- Commercially minded, proactive, and driven to identify new opportunities.
- A supportive and collaborative leader with experience developing and mentoring others.
- Ambitious, adaptable, and motivated to contribute to the continued growth of the business.

About Your New Role
Always
- Managing and developing a diverse portfolio of clients across Northern Ireland.
- Leading the delivery of high-quality business services and accounting work.
- Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Identifying opportunities to develop existing client relationships and secure new business.
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients and internal stakeholders.
- Supporting the growth and development of the Belfast operation.
- Managing, mentoring, and developing junior members of the team.
- Ensuring all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and in line with relevant standards and internal procedures.
Often
- Supporting business development activity and contributing to the growth of the client portfolio.
- Identifying and converting opportunities with new and existing clients.
- Providing technical guidance and support to colleagues across the wider team.
- Managing complex client queries and delivering practical, commercial solutions.
- Supporting the preparation and review of statutory accounts and related financial information.
- Collaborating with colleagues across different teams and locations to provide a joined-up client service.
- Reviewing internal processes and identifying opportunities to improve efficiency and client delivery.
- Supporting the development of team members through coaching, mentoring, and regular feedback.

- Attending client meetings, networking events, and business development activities.
- Representing the business within the local professional and commercial community.
