Outsourcing Supervisor – Reading

In this role you'll be managing a portfolio of outsourcing clients, overseeing bookkeeping and management accounts work, while supporting and developing a growing team.

We're working with a well-established and expanding accountancy practice in Reading that is looking to recruit an Outsourcing Supervisor as part of its continued growth.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced practice professional who enjoys working closely with clients and mentoring others. You'll take ownership of a varied client portfolio while playing a key role in supporting the Outsourcing team and helping to deliver an exceptional client service.

The Role

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing a portfolio of outsourcing clients across a range of industries
  • Reviewing bookkeeping, VAT returns and management accounts prepared by the team
  • Preparing more complex management accounts and financial reports
  • Acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day client queries
  • Supporting, mentoring and reviewing the work of junior team members
  • Assisting clients with cloud accounting software, process improvements and finance function support
  • Working closely with Managers and Partners to ensure deadlines and client expectations are met

About You

We're keen to hear from candidates with previous outsourcing, bookkeeping or management accounts experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. Experience supervising or reviewing the work of others would be advantageous, although candidates ready to step into their first supervisory role are also encouraged to apply.
