Position title: Oversight & Compliance Manager
Duration: One Year (Renewable)
Department: Leaders Assessment Centre (LAC)
Job type: Voluntary Service (VS) Part-Time – 4 to 6 Hours Per Week
Please note this is a voluntary, unpaid, part-time role that is fully remote. Hours are fully flexible, but we would be looking for someone who can commit to around at least 4-6 hours per week. This volunteer role can be based remotely anywhere.

At the heart of our leadership pipeline sits the Leaders Assessment Centre (LAC), a testing facility that conducts competency, personality and knowledge-based assessments for potential candidates in order to be considered for any Representative positions.
The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to sit at the centre of how IYF identifies and develops its leaders. As Oversight & Compliance Specialist, you will work with LAC leadership and Regional teams globally to ensure our assessment processes are fair, consistent, and built to last.
The role strengthens institutional accountability by monitoring compliance, identifying risks, and supporting continuous improvement of control systems. You will get hands-on experience designing and implementing assessment centre processes, contributing directly to how IYF evaluates its Representatives.

Mission Statement
To voluntarily represent, positively promote, and uphold the mission of “Empowering youth for a better world” in various programs and opportunities throughout the IYF interventions across member countries
Responsibilities
- Define and oversee adherence to LAC policies, procedures, and assessment standards across all stages of candidate evaluation
- Conduct periodic reviews of recruitment and assessment workflows to ensure consistency and fairness
- Identify gaps, risks, or deviations from established procedures and recommend corrective actions
- Ensure compliance with internal governance frameworks, ethical standards, and data protection principles
- Support the design and implementation of assessment centre processes and internal control mechanisms
- Contribute to developing and refining assessments, compliance checklists, and quality assurance tools
- Strengthen audit trails and documentation practices; prepare periodic compliance reports for the LAC Director
- Provide analytical insights on process integrity, trends, and areas for improvement
- Advise LAC and Regional teams on assessment requirements and best practices
- Strengthen Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) from a compliance perspective
- Support capacity building initiatives on ethics, compliance, and accountability
- Champion a culture of transparency, fairness, and institutional integrity across LAC

Requirements
- A background in HR.
- Experience in recruitment, talent assessment, or running selection processes is preferred
- Strong analytical skills: able to assess situations quickly, accurately, and effectively
- Fluency in English with excellent drafting skills
- Comfortable working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds
- Proficient with digital tools, information systems, and social media
- Strategic thinker who can contribute to results-based planning and reporting
Selection Process
Evaluation of shortlisted candidates will be invited to a competency based interview which may be followed by a practical assessment exercise.
