Role Description
The Owner Driver role at Clarusto Logistics is a full-time, hybrid position based in the United Kingdom, with some work-from-home tasks such as route planning, reporting, and administrative coordination. Day-to-day responsibilities include:
- Safely operating and maintaining a vehicle
- Completing scheduled deliveries and collections
- Ensuring goods are transported securely and on time
- Managing documentation
- Using route optimization tools
- Communicating with dispatch and customers
- Adhering to all transport and safety regulations

The Owner Driver is expected to handle:
- Basic vehicle checks

Qualifications
Candidates should possess:
- Strong driving skills, a valid UK driving licence, and a clean driving record, with experience operating commercial vehicles.
- Logistics and route planning skills, including familiarity with GPS/navigation systems and basic transport documentation.
- Time management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize deliveries and meet deadlines consistently.
- Customer service and communication skills, demonstrating professionalism in client interactions and clear communication with the operations team.
- Basic administrative and digital skills, including using smartphones or tablets for delivery apps, reporting, and email correspondence.

Additionally, candidates should:
- Ability to work independently, take ownership of vehicle upkeep, and comply with health, safety, and road transport regulations.
- Previous experience in logistics, courier, or transport operations is beneficial; knowledge of UK road networks is an advantage.
- Right to work in the United Kingdom; reliable access to a suitable vehicle or willingness to operate a company-approved vehicle.
