Role Description
The Owner role at BioInCRO is a full-time, on-site position based in London, responsible for overall strategic direction and operational leadership of the organization. This role oversees business development, client relationship management, and partnership growth, ensuring high-quality delivery of bioinformatics and computational biology services. The Owner leads cross-functional teams, sets financial and performance targets, and guides resource allocation and hiring decisions. Daily activities include aligning scientific and technical capabilities with market opportunities, reviewing key projects and proposals, and maintaining compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards. The role also involves representing BioInCRO in external meetings, conferences, and collaborations to strengthen the company’s reputation and expand its global reach.

Qualifications

- Strong leadership and organizational management skills, with experience overseeing multidisciplinary teams and setting strategic priorities.
- Background in bioinformatics, computational biology, or a related field, with the ability to understand complex scientific projects and data-driven methodologies.
- Business development and client management capabilities, including relationship building, contract negotiation, and partnership development.
- Financial and operational acumen, such as budgeting, forecasting, and performance monitoring in a scientific or technology-focused environment.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage stakeholders across pharmaceutical, biotech, and academic sectors.
- Experience leading or co-founding a research, consulting, or CRO organization is highly beneficial.
- Advanced degree (e.g., MSc, PhD, MBA) in life sciences, computational sciences, business, or a related discipline preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
- Commitment to ethical, inclusive, and non-discriminatory leadership practices and a collaborative, innovation-driven culture.
