Role Description
The Owner at Continuum Research Center is a full-time, on-site leadership role based in Sharjah, responsible for overseeing the overall strategic direction, operations, and growth of the center. Day-to-day responsibilities include:

- Defining research priorities
- Guiding project selection
- Ensuring that all initiatives align with the organization’s mission and ethical standards
- Managing budgets
- Supervising staff and collaborators
- Establishing policies
- Monitoring performance metrics to maintain quality and efficiency

The role also involves:
- Developing partnerships with academic institutions, industry, and community organizations
- Representing the center in professional and public forums
- Active involvement in decision-making, problem-solving, and long-term planning to sustain and expand the center’s impact
Qualifications
- Strong leadership, strategic planning, and organizational management skills to guide overall operations and growth.
- Experience in research environments or academic settings, with the ability to evaluate and prioritize projects.
- Financial management skills, including budgeting, resource allocation, and basic understanding of compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to develop partnerships and represent the center externally.
- Proven ability to manage teams, foster collaboration, and create an inclusive, respectful workplace culture.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field (such as business, management, research, or a related discipline); advanced degrees are an advantage.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and a track record of making informed decisions in complex situations.
- Willingness to work on-site in Sharjah and engage regularly with local stakeholders and communities.
