Company Description

Freelance is an independent, self-directed business model in which professionals provide services to clients on a contract basis rather than as traditional employees. As a Freelance Owner, individuals manage their own portfolio of clients, projects, and income streams, often working across multiple industries or specialties. This structure offers flexibility in schedule, location, and the type of work undertaken, while requiring strong self-management and business skills. Freelance owners typically operate remotely, using digital tools to collaborate with clients and deliver high-quality work. The environment suits people who value autonomy, adaptability, and direct control over their professional growth.

Role Description

The Owner role at Freelance is a full-time remote position focused on managing and growing an independent service-based business. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying client needs, scoping and negotiating projects, and delivering high-quality work on agreed timelines. The role involves setting business goals, managing budgets and invoicing, maintaining records, and ensuring client satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up. Owners are expected to market their services, build a professional network, and continuously refine their offerings based on market demand. They also handle administrative tasks such as contracts, scheduling, and basic compliance while maintaining a productive and sustainable remote work environment.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
