Oxbridge Graduate | Southwark | September Start
Are you an Oxbridge graduate looking to gain meaningful experience in education before progressing into teaching, tutoring, or a career working with young people? This Oxbridge Graduate opportunity in Southwark offers the chance to work within a successful secondary school and sixth form, supporting pupils across KS3, KS4, and A-Level.
This is not a general graduate role. The school is looking for an academically strong Oxbridge Graduate who can bring genuine subject knowledge, intellectual curiosity, and high expectations into the classroom. You will work alongside experienced teachers, supporting pupils with challenging academic content and helping sixth-form students prepare for university and future careers.
For graduates considering teaching, the Oxbridge Graduate role provides an opportunity to experience the realities of secondary education before committing to teacher training.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
